With a couple of weeks left before uni, my boyfriend and I managed to squeeze one last quick getaway. We took a late night flight there and back to make sure we got 4 full days in, exploring the island, going on adventures and relaxing by the beach or pool, taking in the last few rays of sunshine for the summer.
Every time I’ve been to Ibiza I fall in love with it even more! Formentera is a small island neighbouring Ibiza with a more relaxed vibe and one of my favourite places to go. Turquoise blue waters surround an array of great beaches to explore and delicious beach front restaurants. After arriving by speed boat, we climbed aboard a moped for an adventurous day discovering the island and the beautiful hidden beaches.
Hungry for more adventures and a different way to explore the mainland of Ibiza, we hired a quad bike to tour around the island. After 3 hours racing through hidden dirt tracks, amongst trees and hidden paths, we eventually ended with an amazing sunset right on the edge of a cliff rock, jutting out into the sea. The adrenaline was pumping, and it was a magical end, perched on the rocks watching the the sun disappear below the horizon.
Aside from these more adventurous excursions, we couldn’t go without exploring the Ibiza Old Town. Cobbled streets lined with boutique shops, market stalls, restaurants and amazing views at the top – it was another perfect way to witness the sun going down.
Adios Ibiza, see you soon xxx
