Girls just wanna have fun, right?! Millie, Lulu, Jasmin and myself in tow.
With the summer budget draining (due to an exciting trip coming up), to Cornwall I went with some of my old school friends, staying in Millie’s gorgeous house in Polzeath.
Road tripping our way down meant piling up the car with snacks, drinks and a good playlist to keep us sane (and of course each other most importantly, providing endless fits of laughter). 5hours later we finally arrived! We went on a walk to stretch our legs and explore our location for the next 3 days. Inevitably we ended diverting the walk straight to a beachside Rum bar to enjoy a couple (or 4) of cocktails!
After a wine-fuelled good night’s sleep, Millie and I both powered through and headed for a morning run, well worth it for the coastal views. During the day, this getaway saw us take cycle rides, cliff top and beach walks, boogie boarding and drooling over a slice of my favourite treat – chocolate crunch! Obviously, we also needed to recharge our batteries, which meant exploring all the moreish places to eat and we even put our own culinary skills to the test. To end our days, we found ourselves playing uno or slumped on the sofa with a glass in hand ready for movie night, featuring Bridget Jone’s Baby and Fifty Shades Darker.
This trip was the perfect retreat to see summer off, with such a great bunch of us providing endless amounts of laughter and entertainment. Looking forward to next year already!
